· Her parents have always been really supportive of her.

· Used to photograph bands before she became an actor

· Sophie learned to drive a Ute, (pickup), fire a rifle and drive a motorbike while filming Beautiful Kate.

· Was flown in especially for a screen test as Lisabeth Salander (main part) for  The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Six other actresses was also tested, and ultimately Rooney Mara was chosen for the part.

· She used to date her Road Train co-star Bobby Morley.

· Is now dating John-Henry Pajak, who play the drums in the band The Go Roll Your Bones.

· She struggled in school because she is borderline dislextic.

· Is really shy personally, but she really comes alive when she´s on camera.

· Was one of two actresses shortlisted for the role of Jeckle in Joel Edgerton’s film The Square (2008).

· Was on hold for a role in the US feature starring Geena Davis, Accidents Happen (2009).

· Her bestfriend is Lewis Johns, who she met in Year 6. Sophie starred in his film project Lewis Johns. They often do quick photoshoots together around Sydney.

· She lives in her own apartement in Sydney.

· Believe it or not, Sophie had a weird emo stage in her teens! “My hair was too short, all dyed different colours, black nails”.

· She enjoys taking pictures of street lamps.

· Got a cat named Freckles which her family got from a shelter as her 16th birthday present. They picked the one that didn´t instantly come to them.

· Was a gymnast from the age of five until she was ten, but she hated it.

· She won a music and dancing scholarship to McDonald Performing Arts College when she was 13, but quickly discovered it was acting she enjoyed the most.
